An Alternative to Group Living

Michael Street Program

This program provides 24-hour on-site staff support to young adults transitioning out of Department of Children and Family (DCF) services.

Programming specializes in supported housing to individuals who are DMHAS eligible for Young Adults Services and include individualized service planning, life skill training, case management, and socialization. A special focus is placed on coordination between DMHAS, DCF, and local school systems to insure that individuals complete their education and gain the skills necessary to follow their individual vocational interests. Fully furnished apartments are provided with private bedrooms and shared kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
