It is the philosophy of the Community Living Programs (CLA) that all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the right to determine their own style of life.

Our agency has a strong belief in community and we strive to provide our residents with the training and support to communicate and advocate for themselves.

It is our belief that all people have the inherent right to be treated with dignity and respected as a whole person. Our Community Living Programs, through recreational activities, community events, positive feedback, self-motivation, and volunteerism, encourage our residents to have dynamic relationships within their local communities and to help make a difference in the lives of others.

Licensed by the Department of Develolpmental Services, our CLA Programs provide 24-hour on-site supervision for our residents with a staffing ratio of 1 to 1. Each resident has a personalized living environment.

Our houses are located in highly regarded residential neighborhoods in Meriden and Southington. Both houses are in close proximity to numerous shopping plazas, movie theatres, and restaurants.

Our enthusiastic and extensively trained staff provides our residents assistance with their personal needs, adult daily living skills, medical needs (including medication administration), on-site nursing, behavioral consultation (as needed), case management, future dream building, personal relationship building, and the knowledge to advocate for themselves and others.

The Community Living Program provides supportive services in Meriden and Southington. To be considered for placement, individuals must be eligible for DDS services. For further information contact:
