The Frank Street Project provides a comprehensive community based residential treatment milieu for 12 chronically homeless individuals who present with psychiatric disabilities and substance abuse treatment issues.

The therapeutic community provides 24-hour staff availability as well as foster peer support to encourage the development of natural supports with the goal of learning the skills and resources necessary to live as fully and independently in the community as possible. Medications are either self administered and secured in the staff office or administered by a homecare nursing agency.


The Frank Street Project will provide transitional housing, case management services, life-skill training groups, coordination of medical and clinical services, transportation to nightly NA/AA and other 12-step support meetings, weekend activities, and other individualized services needed to be successful in community reintegration, such as coordination and support compliance with the Office of Adult Probation or Department of Children and Families.
