The New Haven Halfway House (NHHH) is a licensed, 24-hour staffed residential rehabilitation home with both single and shared rooms.

Meals are prepared and household chores are performed by residents with staff assistance. Staff supervises the self-administration of resident medications. Residential Rehabilitative Services are provided individually and in groups.


NHHH provides case management, money management, leisure activities, and various groups that include meal preparation, hygiene, stress management, and psychotherapy. Staff assists residents in coordinating physician appointments, outpatient therapies, work/vocational programs, entitlement casework, etc. Staff also collaborates with resident’s clinicians and several agencies throughout the Greater New Haven area.
